Practice Nurturance • Receive Support •
Co-create Belonging

This retreat is for men* who want deeper, more meaningful connection and relationship

Who are questioning their conditioned ideas, behaviors and responses

Who are unpacking harm

Who are exploring the vast possibilities of their identity

Who want to be seen, heard, felt, and known for who they really are.

*This retreat is welcoming of all men, male-identifying, and male-socialized folks. we love, honor, and do our best to center the experiences of men who have found themselves on the margins of other men’s spaces, including but certainly not limited to queer men, trans men, non-binary people raised as boys, Black men, Indigenous men, and men of color.

"Beautiful, essential, nourishing and surprisingly easy to settle into. I'm more in touch with my true self than I've ever been."

"This was an amazing opportunity to connect with other men, use each other as support in unleashing our potential as humans, and is the perfect response and practice activity to heal the greater rifts of the world."

What to Expect

Embodiment
get out of your head and into your body.
Dance, body work, nature connection and movement practices help us get to the root of what is stuck, what wants to come through, and what is most needed.

Connection
be an essential part of a greater whole.
Gathering in community allows us space to be heard, witnessed, and affirmed by each other. with this support we are able to access and bring forth all parts of ourselves.

Growth
let go of old narratives and patterns.
We are naming and reclaiming our own unique truths. we are realizing our full potential and living into our aspirations for a healthier, more connected, and more loving world.

Our retreat begins on Thursday evening and ends Sunday midday.

We begin our all of our mornings with movement options before going into the day’s discussions, embodiment activities, and rituals.
friday night we have a special ceremony and dinner that will support setting up our release and reclamation experience saturday, and on saturday night we share in celebrate together. sunday we close our container and prepare for integration and our return home.

We support individuals to be in the arc of their own experience throughout the weekend, and include time for self-care, unstructured exploration of the lands, music, dance, and connecting with new and old friends.

Your retreat cohort will meet together twice in the two weeks before the retreat and once in the week following. these online gatherings will support you in preparation for and integration of our time together.

Location

Sahale Retreat Center

We are blessed to spend these four days together at Sahale.

Prepare for nourishing garden-sourced food, beautiful facilities, and immersion into mossy cedar groves, wetlands, rivers, and sea.

From Sahale’s website:
“Sahale’s 68 acres hold many gifts; a quiet forest, an old orchard of many fruits and a magical sacred grove of ancient cedars. The ever-changing Tahuya River refreshes us; a bubbling spring quenches our thirst; and a quiet pond stills us. Held close by hills and forest, we enjoy the open vista over our valley.

We share this land with deer, black bear, beaver, fox, mink, river otter and many species of birds – eagles, hawks, owls, heron, waxwings, woodpeckers, kingfisher and more. Coyotes sing down the valley at night. The river is home to a strong run of salmon that can be seen spawning in the fall. Hiking trails are nearby.”

Sahale is located within unceded ancestral Suquamish territory.
